Chaz has trained our son from August of last year. He was going into High School and needed work with getting his shot off faster, getting to the basket, and overall his confidence. Chaz implementes this in his trainings and also creates a "Love for the Game" envrionment at the same time. He LOVES what he does and it is truly his passion. He has even came and suported our son at a few of his games this past year. I highly recommend Chaz/CG Hoops to help your child with any basketball needs.

Chaz is a phenomenal trainer. My son is 10 and we have seen significant improvement in his shooting ability since we’ve been training with him. Aiden was scoring maybe 2-4 points per game prior to Chaz’s training, but now he is scoring an average of 10-12. Definitely recommend Chaz if you want your baller to elevate their shooting and overall basketball ability.

My son has been attending CG hoops for several weeks now. His game has changed immeasurably in those weeks. He went from being a below average shooter to a great shooter. He was afraid to attack the rim due to being undersized. Now he has an arsenal of moves to attack the rim that has boosted his confidence. CG hoops. Best in the business in my opinion.

Chaz is Amazing! He is always positive and builds great relationships with the athletes he works with. Chaz challenges my daughter and gives her great feedback to help her be the best that she can be. My daughter thinks the world of Chaz!! Not many trainers take the time to go watch the kids they work with, but Chaz has been to multiple games to support, encourage, and reinforce skills. CG Hoops is the absolute best training for basketball!

Words cannot begin to express the gratitude that we have for the work that Chaz has done with our son. His improvement since the end of last year to this year has been amazing. He is a totally different basketball player than he we was at the end of last season. Chaz has not only improved his basketball skill, but also his mental approach to basketball and life.We have not only seen improvement on the court, but also an improvement in his GPA as well. My son also appreciates the fact that Chaz comes to his games and continues to follow up with him throughout the season. We are looking forward to getting back in the gym with Chaz as soon as his varsity season is over.

Our daughter played 2 years highschool basketball but lacked the basics. We put her in a summer program, but it did not produce skills such as dribbling, shooting, creativity, confidence etc. She asked to step away one year of basketball to get better. Internet research found CG Hoops, one free lesson. Wow, what a lesson CG Hoops is amazing. In a short period of time her skills are 100 percent better. Shooting, dribbling with either hand, confidence on the court, team play, and work ethic. Chaz is an amazing instructor, patient, knowledgeable, assessment, detail, and his skills set is great.

Chaz is an excellent basketball trainer who personally invests in each kid. His sessions are high energy, skill focused, and well planned. He pushes young players to do more than they believe they can and never asks them for more than he is willing to put forth himself. He restored confidence in my son’s game from a skill perspective but also focused on the mental aspects of the sport. He is relatable to kids, high school athletes, and parents alike. Highly recommend.

Chaz has transformed my game completely and has taken me to another level. I have now because of him reached a point that I never would have gotten to without him in my basketball career. Chaz has changed my life forever and I could never think of a way to thank him and CG Hoops enough for all he has done for me. He’s more than just a trainer. He’s a great man, mentor, and friend. I speak from experience. Training with him is the best decision I’ve ever made and I’ll stand by that. Thanks Chaz.

Chaz brings a high level of professionalism, expertise, and enthusiasm to each session. The personal attention and custom training has helped our son level up his game and confidence. The focus on both mindset and player movement is phenomenal. We’ve tried lots of trainers CGHoops is top tier.

We have seen so much improvement in our son’s game since working with Chaz. Not only has Chaz helped my son improve his game in all areas but he came home from every training session happy and excited to apply the things he learned and worked on in games successfully! We will be back for another session.

Chaz and team have the unique ability to quickly build rapport with the athletes who work with them, which leads to results that last. Our son had a very successful AAU season and he attributes a lot of his success to the confidence he gained after working with CG Hoops. We highly recommend this team!

Chaz has helped our son improve his game and confidence, while challenging him to grow and develop. He prepares athletes for all aspects of the game physically and mentally. Chaz cares about his athletes, showing support on and off the court. He’s and even come to games. Chaz is awesome!

My son has had the privilege of working with Chaz for the last couple years, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. His knowledge of the game is exceptional, and he has unique ability to break down complex techniques into easy-to-understand drills. Chaz creates a positive and encouraging environment that motivates players to push themselves to new heights. His dedication to each player’s growth, both on and off the court, is truly inspiring. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to take your game to the next level, Chaz is the perfect guide. Thank you for all the support and guidance!

My grandson has been working with Chaz and his coaches for a few months and the improvement in his game and confidence has been amazing. In just a very few training sessions my grandson's ball handling skills had improved to the point that other parents were asking what he was doing to have improved so much. I watch most of the group training sessions and I have seen incredible progress made by not just my grandson but every one of the athletes who attend regularly. You absolutely cannot go wrong if you have Chaz and his coaches working with your player.

It is one thing to find a coaching staff that motivates your child and helps them significantly improve their skills. But when you find coaches who go beyond that, becoming mentors who teach your child how to be a better person, build self-confidence, and foster their happiness as an athlete, you know you’ve found something special. We’ve trained in many places, but we’re especially grateful to Chaz and his team for the positive impact they’ve had on our child, both on and off the court.

  • Kim Platt

Our son has come a long way because of you, Brandon and your team of trainers encouraging Evan and your extensive training program. We can’t leave out Evan’s hard work. He actually had a long talk with the head coach of varsity yesterday. Coach has noticed all the improvements in Evan’s game. He said he wanted Evan to work on his shots so that he’s lights out so he can help the varsity team next year, which is an indication that Coach is looking at him for varsity, so he’s going to keep training with you, one on one shooting is gonna be a big deal Chaz. it’s so great to see your child succeed and I owe a lot of it to you and Brandon. Thank you and I appreciate it. Keep doing it. Your ability to help kids with their mental and physical game is incredible. Our only regret is we wish we had found you sooner.

My girls started attending CG Hoops training based on a friend’s recommendation about 4 months ago.

At first I was hesitant because we’ve seen enough trainers throughout the years and it was pretty much the same thing. There was little planning or focus on what skills they wanted to work on.

Chaz and his team are good at what they do. They’ve helped my girls improve their shot making and selection, and have helped them with their creativity on the court as well as their decision making. More importantly, they have addressed their weaknesses in order to help them be better overall players.

I couldn’t be more thankful for CG Hoops and their ability to build my girls’ confidence in themselves as ball handlers, defenders and shot makers.

With basketball season about to start, I know my girls are well prepared for the grind and CG Hoops has a lot to do with that.

If you’re looking for a trainer in the St. Louis region, do yourself a favor, sign up for the free session. I promise, you’ve found your trainer.

When some people didn't believe in my son, Chaz did. That belief wasn't only about my son's possibilities, but I would guess it was a belief that Chaz had in himself that he could help build my son into a varsity basketball player. Chaz became his mentor, guiding him, and building his confidence and skills during some mentally and physically tough times. Chaz transformed his shot, giving him the ability to have that 'wow factor' when shooting highly contested 3's. My son went from being that kid who did not make the high school team, to becoming a starter on his varsity basketball team this year. It's been a battle, and Chaz is there to see my son's game elevated on the court. Words cannot describe what Chaz has done for my son and the peace of mind this gives ME, now wrapping up junior year and heading into what will become a very exciting senior year. Anything is possible. And Chaz can help transform the possible into reality.
